Welcome to Whuploo. We’ll try to keep this as short and painless as possible, but yes, the serious stuff matters too.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, www.whuploo.com, and apply to all purchases made through our online store. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to the following terms.

1. Company Overview 

Whuploo is a New Zealand-based online gift store selling funny, expressive and original everyday gifts. Our current range includes mugs, T-shirts, hats and other gift items.

Whuploo products are made to order after an order is placed. We work with trusted production and fulfilment partners to manufacture, pack and ship orders to customers.

New Zealand and Australia are Whuploo’s core service markets. Selected international destinations may also be available through our website checkout where delivery options are shown.

Our goal is to provide clear product information, secure checkout, reliable fulfilment and a straightforward shopping experience.

2. Products & Fulfilment 

Whuploo sells ready-designed products that are made to order after an order is placed. Product availability may change from time to time.

Products may be produced and shipped from different fulfilment locations depending on the customer’s delivery address, product availability, and production capacity. This helps us prepare and deliver orders as efficiently as possible.

Slight variations in colour, layout, print placement, material texture or finish may occur due to screen display differences and normal production methods.

3. Product Information

We aim to keep product titles, descriptions, prices, images, colours, sizes and availability accurate and up to date.

Product images are provided to show the design, product type and available variations. Some lifestyle images are for presentation purposes only. Please check the product title, description, selected colour, size and checkout details before placing your order.

If we discover an error in product information, pricing or availability after an order is placed, we may contact you to confirm the correction, offer an alternative, or cancel and refund the affected order where appropriate.

4. Orders, Pricing and Payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed on our website and at checkout.

Whuploo provides Free Standard Shipping on all orders processed through our website checkout. Product prices, shipping charges, and any payment-related charges collected by Whuploo will be shown before payment is completed.

For orders delivered outside New Zealand, customs duties, import taxes, or other local charges may apply depending on the destination country. These charges are set by local authorities, are outside Whuploo’s control, and are the customer’s responsibility where applicable.

We accept secure payments by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay, where available at checkout. Payments are processed securely through authorised payment providers. Whuploo does not store your full card details on our website.

You will receive an order confirmation once your order has been placed successfully.

5. Shipping & Delivery 

New Zealand and Australia are Whuploo’s core service markets. Selected international destinations may also be available through our website checkout where delivery options are shown.

Whuploo provides Free Standard Shipping on orders processed through our website checkout.

Our standard order cut-off time is 2:00 PM New Zealand time, Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 2:00 PM New Zealand time on a business day begin processing from that business day where possible. Orders placed after 2:00 PM, or on weekends or public holidays, begin processing from the next business day.

Most Whuploo products have a handling time of 2 to 5 business days, Monday to Friday. Handling time means the time needed to prepare, produce, pack and dispatch an order before it is handed to a delivery carrier.

Transit time means the estimated delivery time after an order has been dispatched and handed to the delivery carrier. Estimated total delivery time combines handling time and transit time.

Estimated total delivery timeframes are:

New Zealand: 5 to 9 business days.

Australia: 5 to 10 business days.

Selected international destinations: 7 to 15 business days.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delivery may vary depending on the destination, product type, fulfilment location, customs processing, public holidays, local carrier networks, weather events, or other delays outside our control.

If your order includes multiple items, they may be produced, dispatched, or delivered separately.

6. Returns & Replacements 

Because Whuploo products are made to order after an order is placed, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

This includes situations where you no longer want the item, ordered the wrong colour or size, entered incorrect delivery details, or purchased the item by mistake.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, printed incorrectly, or is the wrong item due to a production or fulfilment error, we will review the issue and offer a suitable solution where appropriate.

To report a manufacturing issue, fulfilment error, transit damage, or incorrect item, you must contact us within 30 days of delivery and provide clear information and photographic evidence where requested.

If a physical return of a verified defective, damaged, or incorrect item is required by Whuploo after review, Whuploo will cover the return shipping cost or provide return instructions.

Whuploo charges $0.00 restocking fees for verified defective, damaged, or incorrectly fulfilled items.

7. Intellectual Property 

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, product images, product designs, and website materials, is the property of Whuploo or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or use any Whuploo content or designs without our written permission.

We reserve the right to remove or update any product, design, image, or website content if we believe it may affect third-party rights, customer trust, or legal compliance.

8. Your Account 

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity conducted under your login.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we detect misuse, fraud, suspicious activity, or violations of these Terms.

9. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to interfere with its normal operation, introduce malicious code, use the website for fraudulent activity, or attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access.

We may restrict, suspend, or block access to the website where we reasonably believe misuse, fraud, security risk, or unlawful activity has occurred.

Whuploo aims to provide accurate information, reliable fulfilment, and a clear shopping experience. However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whuploo is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website, delivery delays, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

If you reside outside New Zealand, your local consumer protection laws may also apply, and we will comply with them where required by applicable law.
